Zone II Lions let the show begin with our first Zone meeting hosted at the den of the Massabesic Lions in Waterboro, on October 25th @ 6:30 pm, the meal will be a Spagetti Dinner. Since, it is close to Halloween; I thought it would be nice to have a Spooky meeting which means “ please” dress to kill …..oops….. I mean to scare….oops again…I mean to have funnnnnnn.. Please bring a pocket full of change to fill Lion Cliff Randalls Jars for the Sight First II Campaign. I am looking for a Tail Twister for our Zone meetings. If you would like the job, please email me so you and I can increase the laughter. A cost will be $10.00 and RSVP by Oct 18th to me. Once again, Zone 2 is meeting on December 4, 2007 . Sanford Lions is the Hosting club and the evening will begin at 6:30 pm . Dinner will be served at 7pm and the cost will be $10.00. It has not yet been announced what Sanford Lions will be serving but we know it will be well worth the trip. We had almost 100% coverage of clubs
at the first Zone meeting. So I am in hopes, all clubs will send
someone to represent their clubs.
Directions to Sanford Lions: Coming from Rt 111 you would turn onto Rt 4 heading toward Sanford. You would drive approx 5 miles to the very first BLINKING yellow light. Take a Right onto tho this road called School St. the Amvets hall is about 2 miles down on the right. The first building is the VFW then the Amvets. Park toward the end for the entrance is in the lower end. Should you be coming from the opposite direction, lets say from the turnpike, you would get off of exit 19, Wells, go 10 miles to interesection of Rt 4/109. take Right onto Rt4 to BLINKING yellow light turn Left. And follow the 2miles. Or else fails call Patty at 651-7846 Please bring a Can Item for the Food Pantry. |

ZONE 6 1st Meeting of the Lions Year, November 14th at the Naples Lions Den 750 Roosevelt Trail, Naples (East end of the Causeway) Time: 6:30. Meal will be ON ME and will be served at 7PM Please RSVP with head count from each club NLT Nov 1st. It would be appreciated if the Presidents and Secretaries could attend. Cabins in Naples, at 6:30 PM on February 20th. Meal will be provided
at no cost. All Zone 6 Lions are welcome. Please provide a headcount
to hebuzzell@fairpoint.net no later than February 15th so that we may plan
for the meal.
