HARRISON LIONS SPRING FLING

Bob & Jan Swett will be leaving this summer to start a new life in Kentucky, but before they leave they want to help the Harrison Lions club out one more time by holding a Golf Party , and want to invite you.
  The Newly Renovated Naples Country Club has agreed to host the party, Sunday May 18th at 1:00 pm. The Harrison Lions will also help make the party a success, because all proceeds will be going to the Lions to help with Community events and projects.
     For $75.00 you will be able to play Golf, ride in a cart, eat a complete Steak Dinner, enjoy the new Club house and bar, stay and play cards afterwards, and most of all help the Harrison community.
     So please tell a friend, pass the word and come to our party. It will be a scramble format that will be fair to all golfers. If anyone word like to sponsor a hole that is not able to play golf, the cost is only $50.00
    If you would be so kind to donate a prize or gift certificate to be given away with your name on it as a donor, all will be appreciated.

After a tough, tough winter, we all deserve a Party. So let’s start our golf season out by enjoying 18 hole of golf, on the 18th of May, with our friends at the newly renovated Naples Country club.

 Windham Lions Club 

Take a chance to entertain yourself and a group of your friends for a Sunday July 20th, 1 pm game at Hadlock Field when the Sea Dogs (Red Sox) play Trenton Thunder (Yankees)
Only  200 tickets will be sold increasing your chances to win ….. 
Whether it is going out with some close friends or trying to impress an important client, the Sea Dog Sky Box is a great afternoon's entertainment. The Game can be seen in style and comfort from inside the furnished suite, or in a Sky Box seat directly outside. Each box can accommodate up to 22 people and is equipped with the following:

? Color Television, with cable and satellite hook-up 
? Refrigerator 
? Heat & Air conditioning 
Food and Beverages
Food Service is available, with our wait staff providing service to the box. Our catering menu is large and varied, including lobster rolls, shrimp, beef tenderloin and other hot and cold platters, plus all of our great ballpark fare and soft drinks (beer and wine can be purchased separately at the sky bar, located on the sky box level).

 Only $25.00 for a chance to take 22 friends or family to a day out at the ballpark including skybox and food - Winning ticket will be drawn April 26th,  2008 at the Lions District Convention.

Acton/Shapleigh Lions Club
What: a Pancake Breakfast 
When: the first Saturday of each month throughout the year from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m
. Where: the Acton Town Hall
How Much: Admission is $4.00 (or $3.50 with a pair of eyeglasses)
The breakfast features golden yellow scrambled eggs, zesty sausages, hot fluffy pancakes with butter and syrup, Maine baked beans, toast, coffee, orange juice, milk and tea with plenty of good conversation. 
The breakfast benefits the charity fund.
