Afternoon Lions,
This is for the South Portland Lions and anyone else interested, as I
am using the Newsletter mailing list.
I received a phone call last night from Jeff Inman that Mel Cass had
died yesterday morning at his son's home in NY. They brought him
to Maine today and calling hours will be at Hobbs Funeral Home Friday
from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral will be Saturday at 11PM
at the Peoples Methodist Church.
On Friday afternoon at 4:00pm the South Portland Lions will
have the Lions Memorial Service for Mel. He has been a member
of the SP Lions for 55 years (with perfect attendance) and is a
Life Member
of the Club. We hope that all the Lions who are interested to
please be there.
