A sad note to let you all know that Lion
Wayne Cobb passed away last Tuesday
at the tender age of 67. Lion Wayne,
along with his dad, was a member of the
Lions club which preceeded our own club.
He was a Charter member of this
club and brought his son, Lion Steve,
on board as a 3rd generation Lion.
As you know, Lion Wayne has been in
poor health for many years but still
managed to stay active with our blood
drives, car shows and other events and
serve as the "Lions candy man" keeping
those mints moving and bringing in
hundreds of dollars in sales. Among
his many accomplishments and civic
duties, Lion Wayne was proud to be a
Lion. He will be sadly missed.
